福田里香 Rika Fukuda（ピアノ）
英国王立音楽大学Royal College of Music, London大学院課程にて、ピアノ及び室内楽の演奏ディプロマ取得。群馬県新進芸術家研修生として、イタリア、オーストリア（ウィーン）でも学ぶ。武蔵野音楽大学及び放送大学卒業。財団法人 ヤマハ音楽振興会本部ヤマハマスタークラス事務局勤務を経て、横浜開港150周年記念音楽祭＆ピアノコンクール（外務省日メコン交流年認定事業）主催。シュタインファット＝福田国際音楽賞創設。
2013年、国際ピアノ会議（セルビア）招待参加を機にセルビア音楽紹介に努める。在京セルビア大使館での「セルビア共和国ナショナルデー」「日本セルビア修好135周年記念行事」「セルビア音楽祭」、 早稲田大学ICC主催「セルビア・フェスティバル」（大隈ガーデンハウス）、「Month of Serbia」(於:JICA地球ひろば）などピアノ演奏多数。
これまでに、英国、ドイツ、イタリア等EU各国を中心に、国内外10ヶ国の音楽祭、コンサート、放送に出演。また、PTNAピアノコンペティション、東京芸術センター、記念ピアノコンクール、WPTA国際ピアノコンクール等、国内外のピアノコンクール審査員を歴任。行政の文化政策委員などを務める。2018年、WPTA JAPAN初代代表に就任。 WPTAコンサートシリーズ、 WPTAピアノアカデミー&オーディション（後援：在日本セルビア大使館） を創設。WPTA JAPAN主催「セルビア音楽祭（於：在日本セルビア大使館）」の企画運営に携わる。
世田谷美術館プロムナードコンサート出演。 在日本セルビア大使館主催コンサートにて度々ピアノ演奏する他、セルビア国立劇場首席メゾソプラノ歌手イェレナ・コンチャル氏、フルートのアンジェラ・ブラティッチ氏オペラなど、セルビアの音楽家との共演も多い。2023年から、Music ＆More 国際音楽祭（於：ボスニア・ヘルツェゴビナ）にて公式ピアニストを務める等、国内外でピアノソロ、アンサンブルの両方で活躍。
執筆分野では、公益社団法人 企業メセナ協議会メセナライターとして、トヨタ自動車「ウィーン・プレミアム・コンサート」、ソニー音楽財団「国際オーボエコンクール・東京」などの取材記事を書いている。
Rika Fukuda (JAPAN) Profile
Pianist, WPTA JAPAN President
Rika Fukuda was born in Tokyo. A versatile pianist with a strong academic background two Bachelor’s degrees in both music and the liberal arts in Japan. After her graduation of the Musashino Academia Musicae in Tokyo, she won the prestigious “Gunma Artist Award for Studying Abroad” by the regional government in Japan to have her sojourn in Italy, where she studied with K.U.Schnabel. Returning to Japan, she concertized and broadened her performing career in Taiwan as well. In addition, she was awarded the RCM Scholarship to enroll at the Royal College of Music, London, https://www.rcm.ac.uk/ studying with Gordon Fergus-Thompson and obtaining her Postgraduate Diploma in Performance in 2001.
Coming back to Japan, she became very active, working for the “YAMAHA Master Class” in Tokyo, a special course for the young, talented students, in YAMAHA Music Foundation. Besides her busy performing career in domestic and foreign countries, she has organized numerous musical events including WPTA Piano Audition, the Y150 Piano Competition & Festival authorized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan.
Since her first visit to Serbia in 2013, she has been promoting Serbian music and often appeared in the Serbian embassy, Tokyo. Ambassador Nenad Glišić, who plays the guitar, often plays with her there. In 2018, Rika made an appointment as a President of WPTA JAPAN, which organize the WPTA Piano Academy & Audition. Besides, she writes articles for music and culture in major Media in Japan. Currently, she is an official writer for Association for Corporate Support of the Arts https://www.mecenat.or.jp/en/
In 2018, she was appointed the President of the World Piano Teachers Association Japan, and organize WPTA Concert series and the WPTA Piano Academy & Auditions in Japan.
